What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy received a lot of attention when professional athletes such as Stephen Curry, Tiger Woods, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kobe Bryant, Hines Ward, and many more, used platelets from their own blood to relieve pain and quickly heal sports injuries. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is also used in aesthetic procedures such as breast lift, facelift, vaginal rejuvenation, scar removal and more.
PRP is the patient’s plasma, containing a high concentration of platelets. The patient’s blood is collected in a vial that is placed in a centrifuge machine. This machine gradually separates the platelets from the blood cells. These platelets, which contain natural growth and healing factors, are injected into selected areas of the donor/patient (joints, breasts, face, lips, scalp, vagina, scar tissue, etc).
Why PRP?
PRP is a safer and more effective way to rejuvenate and rebuild body tissue because the platelets are derived from the patient’s own blood, and the procedure utilizes the body’s own healing abilities.
